But yeah, Duke should be even more loaded with talent than the 2015 team that won the title.

Completely different situations. Duke can recruit to fill up those holes while state struggles to do so. Duke has players leave almost every year to play elsewhere, but it doesn't matter to them. They will have 7 McDonald All-Americans on the roster next year not including Giles (injured but #1 overall prospect) or Bolden (undecided but a Duke lean at the moment). Silly to look at K and ask why Gottfired can't be more like him.

he got pushed out because duke wanted to free up a scholarship for a better player coming in. We have a hard time even using all of our scholarships

people come in thinking they can and should play early because year after year what is left is at best average.
