I skipped this but Destiny 2 is free from now until Nov. 18th. From what I understand that doesn't mean you can play it until the 18th, it means you have until the 18th to claim your free copy.

I haven't played the first one and I'm only an hour or so into this one. I'm still trying to get a feel for the game.

Just go through the story not worrying about what guns and armor you are using. Constantly equip the best gear (by rating) that you have and you will level quickly. Don't worry about infusing or upgrading any gear until you hit about the 550 mark.

My buddy and I are thinking of giving Stadia a try, and we'll supposedly be getting all Destiny content as a bonus with the Pro program so we'll be coming back in November. A little excited to play again, as we left off pretty early in vanilla Destiny 2.

Theres so much new since i stopped playing after the original content. I have tried but cant seem to get into it playing alone. Almost all the new content is stuff that you need a group to complete

Most of the new stuff has matchmaking now. I believe the raids have it now too although I have never used it. The new raid is so damn hard.

Theres no matchmaking for dreaming city or EP stuff, as far as I know. And matchmaking for a raid, any raid, sounds like complete AIDS.

Download the Destiny 2 app, go to fireteams, and you can find a group to run just about anything.
