please explain as I may have missed this?

Liverpool should have been up a man after that cunt Bernardo's foul in the 80thsome minute.

^^both teams outperformed their xG in that game. I can't find halftime stats but the xG For the whole game was like 1 so it's not like City was bombing out in the first half. And if city outperformed there, that means Liverpool outperformed second half.

^the announcers thought Milner should have gotten 2nd yellow. Maybe Liverpool was lucky but you have to be lucky to win this league most years.

Milner should have picked up a second yellow for his foul on Silva(I think) He dangled a leg and made no attempt on ball. It was a clear yellow but Tierney didn't give it, probably due to knowing Milner was on a yellow. Almost every commentator and analyst said it was a yellow card offense.

"VAR still sucks and if Martin Atkinson didn't call it a foul VAR shouldn't go back, there were 2 crosses before the goal, and it was pouring. Thankfully the 3 points were secured but that was a pretty tough VAR decision against us that was a soft foul anyways that the refs are supposedly not calling this season."

Yeah, that was bullshit. How far can you go back and call a simple foul? If ball is in play for like 6 minutes and a goal is scored, can they go back 5 minutes looking for a foul to negate the goal?

VAR did help us with the red card later at least (spikes up tackle). And that possession for our 3rd goal was bananas. 3 shots that looked looked like they would be goals; two off the post and then one seemingly saved until goal line technology ruled it crossed the line.

^I didn't watch your game but I THINK what you describe happened to Liverpool vs city a couple of years ago where they went back like 8 passes for a foul? Can't remember if that helped or hurt us though.

So does Newcastle go and break the bank on Haaland or Mbappe?

If they do what does City do? They need a striker or center forward at least to push Jesus.

^^3 points is 3 points doesn't matter how you got them. Mendy with some huge saves in the final 10 minutes. That game actually felt very Jose like, up 1-0 at the half and then park the bus.

^Not sure what to think of the ownership. Who comes in to coach, and get them out of the relegation zone. Who do they try to buy in the January window. They need a lot of help and it took City 3 years after the Abu Dhabi takeover to win the league.

This is it. They have to get off of the bottom first. Going to be some big money spent.
