He had a favorable public image and a great track record of business success. Not sure why he's working so hard to tear that down. His antics are most likely to alienate the same group of people who either already are or could conceivably be Tesla buyers, many of whom may now seek another brand of EV to avoid association with his toxic personality.

Not buying a Tesla shouldn't have anything to do with the company founder.

They are shitty cars with shitty maintenance requirements with big price tags. Was reading an article from someone who actually likes Tesla's, talking about how much higher his maintenance costs were than he thought they were going to be.

I kinda like the Tesla infotainment, and if you like danger, they do have the most hands off driver assist (except for gms supercruise on the limited mapped roads) but you’re right about the rest of the car. Other manufacturers basically are making better cars in every way.
