drag racing extravaganza. it gets a little lonely or old going by yourself or with the same one or two people every week. plus, alot of you clowns are always talkin about what you're got, or why drag racing sucks, or whatever. that's not what this is about. just come out, have some fun, talk some shit, whatever. even if you don't make any passes, it's pure entertainment just drinking a few beers and watching all the other redneck idiots, bikers, etc. around.

so, here's the tenative plan. optmusprimer has a place in clayton. just a hop, skip, and jump from the tracks. couple of us might be there fiddling with cars beforehand. we can meet there, bww's on 70, or somewhere beforehand, then roll out. gates open at like 5, run until 10 or 11 depending on the crowd. real layed back. if you don't know what to do, just ask. it's simple.

as for track, benson is definitely open for test & tuner. i'm still trying to find out on kinston, and if they are open will they allow any 1/4 mile passes. my personal opinion is go to kinston if they'll open up the 1/4, or benson if our only choice is the 1/8th. distance between them is about the same.

afterwards, nothing really planned. maybe some runs south of the border in mexico on the way back, joels for some late night debauchery, some lovely local clayton water hole, etc... whatever, we'll figure it out.

here's the kicker to keep things rolling. friday night, we roll on down to fms for freaky friday. if you've never been to one, you must. it's MUST SEE culture. basically an all night racing, boozing, gambling, etc. party. the track sucks for prep, but some fast cars come and the spectators get wild.

Yeah that place has been open less than a year. Opened around the time the plane crashed into McCalls BBQ (right next door) I suppose. Last time I did TNT the $5 covered admission and racing. But that was Roxboro, and it was years ago. Bring $10 just in case.
