^^^I used to be like in high school and early college days but more a libertarian-centrist (I voted for candidates on both sides as well as third party but often leaned right). Past tense now as I was definitely against Trump even in the early primaries as I have never liked him. I didn't vote for him and to see the party just become a bunch of sycophant dogs lapping at his asshole has been abhorrent. At the same time in recent years I had leaned more left-wing (HB2 and other shit at a state and national level really opened my eyes to how "small government/libertarian" the Republican party really is) and in the last election I don't believe I voted for a single Republican. Until they wash their hands of the stain of Trump and the ridiculous fascism/racism they have openly embraced I cannot in good conscience vote for them.

There's a possibility Trump may not want to run again, although of course he'll enjoy all the attention pretending like he does and toying with the media, the party, and the nation up to the last minute. Mary Trump speculated after the election was finally called that he would never put himself in the position to lose like that again. Maybe it all depends on how successful his lying is over the next few years. So far, it seems alarmingly successful. Now he just needs a few major Biden screw-ups, and especially for white people to think their lives were better off under his reign.
