VIR was extremely wet for 3/4's of today with very strong winds. The track didn't even begin to dry out till my 4th session out. It's a lot of fun driving in the wet especially with the wind and the way it was raining. The track was seldom the same from one lap to the next and trying to deal with that as well as trying to brake without engaging abs made it a challenge. I spun my second session out at turn 1. But the spin was the only time I was passed while it was wet and only 1 car passed me in the dry which was some race prepped 968 turbo thing.

There was a Boxster that spun into the left guard rail coming out of the lower esses when it was pouring. He hit the guard rail with front drivers side and the guard rail tore his front bumper in half. Then, for some reason, he floored it with the wheel to the right and slammed the rear drivers side into the guard rail.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

ill have to watch the vids when i get on a better comp.

that spin i had screwed with my alignment seetings, or something is slightly bent.

not a prob though, car drives good enough, but there was a noticable different after the first session out with the steering wheel not strait and the susp out of tune.

hopefully i can check it out tomorrow.
