Not reading through this thread so I don't know what has been said about it, but Rivers has done some things this year that have shown immaturity and poor character. Between mocking cutler a few weeks ago, to yelling at the fans today at the end of the game, just aren't things I remember when he was here at state. I'm sure I'll get torn apart for not just having a blind love of the guy(which I really had up to this year) but I just wish he would let his play on the field do the talking, it just makes him look bad.

He is not a star in the NFL. He might be a star/famous person in general, most QB's in the NFL are. But he certainly isn't one of the stars of the NFL yet. shit him and Merriman would go back and fourth everytime they played and still do now

He didnt have a camera on him the whole time he was on the sideline so that people could see everything he said.

Like I said, I love the guy, and I really don't care much about the trash talking between players. It is more the interaction with the fans, and letting an opposing stadium get something out of you.

I just would have expected it his rookie year or first year starting, not the year after he makes a pro bowl and is headed toward the conference championship.

Dude it isn't like we are defending the fans, or saying that the fans didn't deserve to have something said back. I'm sure they were saying complete garbage shit to Rivers after he owned them.

But the guy plays the best game of his NFL career(maybe not statistically, but certainly on the biggest stage) and the one thing that has been shown more than his two sick TD passes is the end of the game him turning and yelling at the crowd. I don't give two fucks if half the NFL does it, I don't care if the indy fans are classless, and I'm not saying you can't be an intense competitor and get emotional on the field especially with the other team's players. It is just detracting from his play on the field and that is a shame. I want to see an extra 15 seconds of his highlights on the field, not clips of him shouting at the crowd.
