I'm not trying to troll here but what really happened to miami and their Ponzi scheme shit.
It seems like the shit that that comes out at a program get worse and the actions they face carry less of a penalty. Ad why do the investigations go on forever.7/19/2013 10:07:24 PM |
Bweez All American 10849 Posts user info edit post |
^miami self-imposed a bowl ban for two years straight (which has accurately been called "unprecedented") and cooperated fully with the incompetent and shady ncaa.
unc's self-imposed penalty was vacating some wins [WHOOPDEE] and reducing scholarships by 3.
unc was not penalized at all for the AFAM shenanigans, unless i'm mistaken.
unc is in trouble again with current players.
by the time the shapiro shit came out miami had 2 new coaches, neither of which were involved in his nonsense. Even randy shannon did a lot to distance the program and his kids from Nevin, so Nevin was mostly Larry Coker era.
that is how this differs from miami and "their ponzi scheme shit."
this post is poorly structured and meandering but the point is this: The hurricanes manned up, stopped cheating [had already stopped cheating], and ate the the shitflakes cereal they poured themselves while unc has gotten off relatively easy and still can't seem to stop being generally sketchy. 7/19/2013 10:45:14 PM |

Since they didn't charge him with the gun, intent to sell, DWI....not surprising that a simple weed possession charge and driving without a license got dropped. 7/22/2013 10:21:47 AM |

Didn't he have an ounce and a half? and how was nobody charged with a gun and ammunition? how often does someone who's charged with that much weed and no license get charges dropped? (and then there's the gun and ammunition). are charges dropped for the others? 7/22/2013 10:25:56 AM |

The cops split up the ownership of the weed so each got a misdemeanor since separately they were each under the limit for a felony. They also ignored the gun.
So all that's left is driving without a license, which is usually dropped by showing up to court with a valid license, and weed possession, which some DAs aren't really interested in prosecuting anymore if you pass a drug test or enter some first offender program.
Of course it's all bullshit, but the police took it easy on him and this is what they were left with. 7/22/2013 10:51:32 AM |

how often does that happen? i thought if no one claims it, they either charge the driver with all of it, or they charge everyone with all of it.
and i still don't understand how nobody was charged with the gun and ammunition.7/22/2013 11:02:38 AM |

I wasn't expecting much, I mean people need to understand just having charges dropped doesn't mean you didn't do anything wrong, its just not worth the state's time and money to take it to trial or there might not be enough there.
But if the other guys are still getting charged...... 7/22/2013 11:13:22 AM |
