I agree. One thing that I never understood is how everyone backs this guy like he's the second coming... but he has no jumper. The NBA as it currently stands is designed around deep shooting. All of the elite players have that in their arsenal.

Zion shot 34 percent from 3, just a smidge higher than Reddish and Barrett. Now of course he didn't need to shoot many 3s and he missed 3-4 weeks after the shoeplosion so that's way less attempts, but he's at least servicable from 3 based on the 1 year at Duke.

I think there's pretty much no chance of Durant signing a short term deal. Someone will offer him a max deal and he'd be foolish not to sign it given that a return to his previous dominance is far from guaranteed.
