Congrats Dem.'s you "seemingly" got exactly what you wanted out of Dr. Ford. A delayed vote. Of course, an FBI investigation isn't up to Jeff Flake, so he just got played hard. And who knows if McConnell actually order the investigation or just move forward with the vote as scheduled on Tuesday.

The important thing is the Dem's were (possibly) able to delay the vote an additional 3 days. All it took was destroying several lives in the process. Good for them.

I know, right. And for someone who has already gone through 6 separate FBI investigations, it is silly to think he is scared of one now. But the Dems have NO credibility with requesting an FBI investigation when they sat on this accusation for 2 months. If they actually cared about justice for Dr. Ford, they would have sent this to committee or the FBI as soon as they received it. I also have concerns about his explicit and seemingly unfettered jumping into the political fray. We all know that SCOTUS nominees have certain political ideologies, but they shouldn't be slamming a political party in their confirmation hearings.
