Last night, my friends and I actually came up with the song we will email to twpc to be used at the pregames. The song contains three hooks and begins with the crowd singing the line "Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'm in love with wolfpack", accompanied by building synths. This is followed by a thumping electronic beat, as everyone sings, "NCCC/ NCCCCCC/ STAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE".

While I don't want to defend PI here (or ever...), I thought it was pretty common knowledge at this point, via players and several of their parents, that a couple of our guys Ryan and CJL were just flat out not going to the gym/dedicating themselves to practice when they were supposed to. CJL missing the game vs. Duke would also seem to confirm this.

i'd call it internet rumors, not common knowledge. maybe they were skipping practices, but i don't believe it just because i saw someone on the internet say that one of the players or someones' parents said something. and i just have a hard time believing they were skipping practices on the reg. in fact, i'd bet that wasn't the case. i'm pretty sure sid wasn't allowing players to miss multiple practices.

I was there...not a whole lot to be taken away from the games, as is typical of a summer pickup game. I was just happy to see Alex Johnson and Tyler Harris play for the first time. Tyler Harris actually held his own against Barnes in the last game. They started to get pretty physical, too.

I was a little disappointed to see that even in a loose game like this, Scott was still only going for spot up 3's, though.

if Johnson plays well and catches on really quick, it's possible that we may see him take over starting PG by mid-season. Although Brown played well at times at PG last season, if he starts to struggle with TO's, then Johnson may be a good option. And just bump Brown over to the 2 spot.

There is no way that unless Zo gets hurt, Johnson starts a game this year over him.

Yeah, in the game they may play a 2 pg set...but he wont start over Zo, no way in the world.

The only thing I didnt like about Zo in the scrimmage was he was missing on his timing when it came to some of the alley passes to CJL and a few out of place down low.

Johnson can dunk pretty well though for his size.

I don't think he'd start OVER Brown (implying Brown will be on the bench). But if Johnson is as good as they're saying, we could easily put Zo at 2G, Scott at 3, and bring CJW off the bench in an energy-type role.

That'd give us two good ball-handlers on the court (Zo and Johnson) and two great 3pt threats (Wood and Johnson).

That said, from everything Coach has said, Zo will be the PG this year
