The core problem is systemic racism and prejudice though, i'm not sure how private policing addresses this.

Charlotte for example has a lot of poor blacks in underperforming schools combined with public assistance budgets that keep getting tighter, on top of a system where income mobility is one of the worst in the country (i might go dig up the study but it's easy to google).

What incentive does a private police force have to deal with issues on a systemic level, vs. just executing the will of the wealthy population/leadership?

Private police might help with 1 small section of the overall pie, but #BLM is about a broader systemic change.

It takes two dudes. One to be like, "Yo, he's high."

And the more experienced one to be like, "Yeah, it looks like PCP. You feeling lazy?"

"Of course."

"Me, too. You tase him a couple times. I'll go call an ambulance."

"Why I gotta tase him?"

"Cause I'm not doing the paperwork."

"Okay, fine...but you owe me a beer."

You don't want any government, thus removing all those pesky government laws to enforce, and instead would prefer a "system of private property rights." So it makes sense you support scrapping our current police forces in favor of "private police" to help enforce your private property rights.

i read some stuff and listened to some other stuff that made logical sense to me. if you hold non-aggression as a principle, then there's no way you can arrive at any end other than libertarianism.

what is the definition of government? if me and a few friends get together and form a group and call ourselves government, we aren't government. government is simply the group that is allowed to coerce others legally. government is by definition violent/aggressive.

In short, that family was clearly full of hate and anger years before today. And no man who sincerely enjoys daily reading in his car raises a child who says those things. So, yeah...with that kinda hatred and anger, it's no surprise her father had an altercation with the police that resulted in his death.
