Rumor mill here at work is that UNC is going after and will get Skip Holtz, assuming sanctions on the 28th are reasonable (no worse than USC), and especially if the Big East dissolves. No real substantiation, just a dude that told a dude that told a dude, etc. I thought it was at least interesting enough to discuss the possibility.

I think a TV ban is a bit too much, but a bowl ban and increased scholarship losses are definitely in order, plus a 2-3 year ban on NCAA coaching for Blake and maybe Davis.

Ok, so maybe a TV ban isn't too much, but that seems to unnecessarily punish all the teams who would have their wins over UNC televised.

The way TV bans should be now is that the team just doesn't get any money. You still see them get their asses kicked in, the opposing team isn't punished and in fact everyone else in the league gets the benefit of extra money.
