the sad thing is that wasn't even me... I was just friends with the guy and knew what he was doing. I still talk to him on facebook every now and then. Honestly the older I get and the more I play on the internet, I have realized it's about trying to respect people and their different opinions regardless of it's real life or on a message board or whatever. It's seems like, as a general rule, most people on here do that to a certain extent, although it's obvious there is a very vocal minority that can make it seem like quite the opposite and who cause threads to go downhill very quickly.

IMO, just by having a user name like God is counter-intuitive to respecting anyone. I am quite agnostic and definitely leaning toward the atheist side of the argument, but I do understand that choosing a user name like you have and then openly expressing views in such a hateful way against all religions (regardless of whether you are wrong or right) is just.... really wrong IMO.

I will also say that I have noticed here recently that you have toned down a lot on your abrasiveness (I think I even commented on it once or twice) and that you do seem like a pretty genuine person when you're not intentionally trying to hurt someone. Good luck and hope everything works out for you.

It wasn't the plagiarizing. It was like in Step Up 2: The Streets, when the protagonist's new crew tried to show how "street" they were early on in the movie in the dance club. It was too early for them and all of the street people in the club were going to pounce on them no matter what--how they danced didn't matter. In this case, publicly calling God out on something was like feeding him to others for pouncing.
