yes, of course, but my point was it's not that bad of a deal when no one else gets any playoff points out of the race either. no one gets locked in with a win, either. essentially, that race didn't affect the playoffs other than the regular season points that were gained by guys who won't get in with a win this year.

^My thought too. I went to Hooters for lunch 2 weeks ago to get pickle chips, but also bought a quesadilla and had to buy a beer to get the free pickles. They don't lose too much when slicing up 1 onion, or pickle while selling a lot of other food and drinks. I don't think too many people know about these promotions, plus they are only good the Monday after the race which isn't a big day for going out and getting drunk at the bar.

If you like a decent Supercross race but don't watch it often, catch the 450 main event from Daytona this past weekend.

Indycar: I felt so bad for Wickens. Him or Rossi should've won and Rossi lost it. Then Bourdais won. I don't like Bourdais. Still, seriously impressive performance for Wickens. He was a factory driver for Mercedes last year in DTM. And it's a good general rule to have of "anyone that was or is a factory driver can own you".

NASCAR: On current form, we're going to go in to Homestead with Kevin Harvick having won 31 of the preceding races (not winning the restrictor plate races because those are clusterfucks). He'll still enter Homestead with only having a 25% chance at the title.

No, but I drive right down 29 to get there. It honestly isn't bad, I'm just being dramatic. It's really only bad on Sunday after the race leaving Martinsville. I've seen a solid line of traffic starting in Walkertown all the way to Martinsville before (luckily I was heading north).

But I usually just avoid that whole area if at all possible on race weekends.

Both races postponed to monday...trucks at 11 am, cup at 2 pm. Sucks for attendance for one of the few races a yeae that pulls a good crowd
