I honestly don't think so. To me, it just seems like that girl had a bad date / bad sexual encounter, and later regretted it. Bad dates and bad sexual encounters happen without the dude being a sexual harasser.

Maybe you should try actually reading the story and, you know, taking what the woman said at face value. Ansari confirmed her story and apologized, you know. I mean, she literally said:

You don't have to do something improper to apologize to someone you have hurt or offended.

If I told a joke about penguins and someone started crying because their family was murdered by penguins I would apologize to them, but that wouldn't be an admission of guilt.

There are a lot of helpful things people can learn from this story. Maybe highlighting this encounter can inform both men and women that we need more and clearer communication.

But it's not something that should cause him to lose his career or even his show.

That is an absolutely true statement... and that very well may have been what happened here to Grace. However, I didn't necessarily get this impression from the article that that's what happened. Hell, the lady at some point definitely felt confident enough to say "this is getting too weird.

Meh, I read it. Though admittedly, I didn't study the details before posting. There were many parts of the story describing Aziz's behavior that I would describe as being all kinds of fucked up. And I absolutely believe what Grace said happened in her story, and believe that she felt the things that she felt (or eventually began to realize that she felt later). Grace also has every right to change her mind about any sexual encounter, even if she's in the middle of it. It's just weird as all hell to put your date's dick in your mouth, and lounge around his apartment naked, and expect the nonverbal signal you are trying to convey to be 'I'm not interested in anything sexual right now'.
Could you link me to Aziz's apology? I'm only seeing where he says he's sad to hear how she felt, and it wasn't his intention to make her feel that way.

at some point this all gets a bit ridiculous and its hard to separate sexual shyness from no. Once sexual acts have begun, I don't know how to stop unless you specifically say "stop", "no", or "i don't want to have sex". "We're moving to fast" or "lets chill for a while" are a bit too vague and can easily be interpreted as a need for more foreplay.
