It’s simple. If you have a point and post a video montage from Laura Ingraham’s old executive producer who is an editor at a fringe rightwing website you will have a very hard time getting people to believe it isn’t highly edited to fit a purpose. Just a fact.

If you have a point and post it from a reputable person and/or source you are more likely for people to engage with it and really critically think about real issues.

It seemed pretty obvious to me that in the quote, "We have to take care of the cure. That will make the matter worse, no matter what," which was in response to, "Are you at all concerned, as Trump said, that we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself," the word "that" was in reference to the idea of easing back on social distancing.

Meaning: we have to ensure that social distancing is implemented fully; rolling that back will only make things worse.

Granted, it was phrased poorly, but that was my understanding the first time I listened to it, and I was surprised that there was as much confusion over it as there was.

I think crossover votes are less of a problem than people who will just choose not to vote. And that goes beyond primary voters who are a small subset of the population. I have a hard time believing Joe Biden will turn out the vote as compared to Trump, whose base is very enthusiastic.
