The episode was even written by Geoff Johns who is a DC writer known primarily for his work on Superman and JLA. If anyone is gonna stick to the "true accounts" of the story of Superman, it's gonna be this guy. I loved how he even had the characters from the future asking WTF is Chloe Sullivan. An obvious in-joke to how she was never in any of the original comics. He also addressed several other fan-favorite complaints about the show ("No flights, No tights" "Where's your cape?" etc)

Overall the only thing I didn't love about last night's ep was how important they made Lana out to be. That's the one thing that didn't really mesh that well with the comic books past or present.

well that and how they blew a second chance to give Doomsday the proper "birth" that he should have had. Instead of putting him in a crystal, they should have made it to where he was put in a box and he had to dramatically break out like he did in the comics.

Episode last night was kind of weak. I think they are doing too much with Lana. I was happy when she was gone, like most people. So let her go and lets move on with Louis.

Question....Does Chloe now remember Clark is an alien with powers?

The episode last week was pretty good and I def liked the Who is the Cloe Sullivan bit. I am still hesitant on this whole Doomsday aspect...hell Clark can't even hear/see the police setting him up less than 50 yards away (From last night episode). No way he even stands a mediocre chance against true Doomsday.

I just don't see how Lana can die after all the bullshit we got 2 weeks ago from the Legion kids about how Lana played such a huge important role in humanity's future.

Unless they try to say that her death had some sort of profound impact on Clark and it caused him to become Superman or something. But that's lamer than lame if they pull that.

The armor has Kryptonite usually inside the chest, but has also had it on the fingers/knuckles. Having Lana's armor absorb Kryptonite is a nice touch since it's not a big, metal suit.
