well it's pretty much the same game, there was just nothing new and revolutionary about cataclysm. I would say the LFD tool was the last "second wind" that wow had.

That 941 was just in subscription fees. Add in the cost of the original, plus TBC, WoTlk and Cata

plus I spent about $200 in gold back in 06.

plus about $100 in server/faction transfers


It's still not close to the amount I've spent at night clubs or movie theaters in that time span, it's just eye opening to think about.

So the new dailys are something to do. Trash runs everywhere but theres rep this time. I think the game is a little nicer now since everyone can pug the 4.0 raids and the real focus will be firelands. Fl is at least visually cool amd i look forward to learning the bosses.

I really don't miss it. Getting married in like three weeks and honestly, since my wife-to-be doesn't play MMO's, I would never be able to dedicate the time I would want to to the game without neglecting her, and that's not something I'm about to do.

After having played this game for so long, I'm finally in my second "retirement." And I was never hardcore to begin with. Still, though, it has a special place in my heart, so I didn't hesitate when I saw this the other day.



All I've ever played is Paladin. My one and only character, and I've enjoyed every minute of it... well, mostly. Judgement always was my favorite set in the game.

they need to make it cheaper and add another expansion. possibly features that allow you to play with people across servers. it sucks meeting somebody who plays and not being able to play with them or having to shell out $25 to switch servers.

You can do this now as long as you are the same faction with the RealId system. Although they are saying it's only free right now and going to be part of some premium service that costs extra in the future. Next xpac is due Summer '12 according to the leaked timetable that has been accurate so far.

About 150k gold total
Warrior has 109 mounts including Mim's head. He also has 12k achievement points

Between all my 85s, I have all professions covered. Multiple miners. Druid is herb for flight form/faster picking.
