Can someone remind me -- when we first met Mike in BB, he was originally introduced as an enforcer for Gus, right?

Well, all I remember is that Saul tells Walt that he found him with "his guy" who was the best, but it was a clear message that Walt was gettin sloppy and needed help. He then shows up to help Jesse out with his dead gf where it's implied that he's a former cop. But, I don't remember how that relates exactly to the Gus timeline.

However, I do agree that this show does explain how mike ended up attached to both Gus and Saul.

Is it me or Banjo missing something here. The hit was put on by Fring, not the cartel.

**SPOILERS**

Mike inferred it when he said something to Jimmy like "I guarantee that he is not coming back", but he didn't come out and specifically say it. And Mike had told him that Lalo was dead before.

Buzz from Home Alone was the fat guy at the bar in last night's Better Call Saul.

Two episodes left, it's building!....

Like don't you think if you ran a store and some teenager came in your store and tried to buy a pacifier don't you think you'd call the police? I sure would.

^ I was thinking back to when he was like “nevermind, I’ll fix it myself” to vacuum dude when he called him that he originally got made. I hope there is some semblance if that. I can’t imagine he dies. Would hope they are able to do a different ending from breaking bad. Can’t see how slippin jimmy has one more trick up his sleeve either. Hope its an ending that isn’t rushed and convoluted.

Great series from start to finish, just like Breaking Bad. Gotta say though, way too many commercials in the finale.

I thought the ending was very fitting. Sad that it's over. An end of an era.

Question now that I have had more time to think on it. Why did Saul continue to run cons after the initial one with Jeffie? The first one makes sense as it covered his ass if Jeffie tried to blackmail him (if I go down, you go down). He didn’t need the money really— he had a box of diamonds. Was it really just because he liked it? He seems like he’d be smarter than that.

Yeah I don't think it was the money as much as just wanting to be in 'the game.' Going from a wheeling and dealing cartel lawyer to a Cinnabon manager didn't exactly fulfill all of his desires.

Yeah, and his conversation with Kim (and Francesca) just caused him to get crazier and take more risks.

Rewatched the finale. The sign humming electricity when Saul mentions Chuck was a great touch.
