^^no you idiot

clearly you know nothing about what I post....I'm all about finding great stuff at great prices. But I like quality. If Khols or however the fuck you spell it has a quality tie like that then I say go for it. I mix high and low cost shit together all the time.

For shirts, buy them so that it fits in the neck and sleeve. The torso can be taken in by a tailor, cheaply.

My favorite tie got all fucked up last month when it got poured on (rained heavily as we were leaving a wedding) and then not properly dried out (that's my fault). Can a dry cleaners do anything in that situation, or is it garbage?

^^^ My problem with shorts like those is that my legs are too thick and they look like skinny shorts on me. Need thin legs for those.

I wer cargo shorts or cargo pants 90% of the time.
Wallet and knife top right
Phone and eye drops top left
Pens, flash light, and sometimes bottled water bottom right when working
Gun bottom righ (sometime) when not working
Notebook, keys other stuff bottom left

I need the pockets when I work, and they are useful sometimes when I'm not. If it isn't cargos of some kind then it is jeans.

pretty much always rock cargos because i can't stand to have my keys, phone, pocket knife, and cash crammed into two pockets. epi-pen doesn't really fit in any other pockets either, then if i've got my sunglasses as well. i know i carry too much shit, but it is all shit i use (well hopefully not the epi).

Same.

Wallet, keys, phone. Sometimes ipod if I'm going to be riding the metro for a while. But that's it for me.

Got a pair of these last week. I've got thick thighs (whoever was complaining above about legs being too thick, I'm sure I've got you beat) and the shorts fit fine. Cargo pockets or not, overly baggy shorts look sloppy.

Plus, gotta show off those quads.

i don't care to look at men's upper thighs. I prefer if men didn't wear shorts that show more than a couple inches above the knee.

and that pic above with the yellow shorts looks like it could have come out of jc penney's catalog from the 80s.

I used to think the same way. If you have truly massive quads (paging eleusis), sure, it could be a challenge, but for most guys, that's not going to be an issue. Shorts like that are going to show off any leg definition you might have. If you have a big ass and thighs, that style of shorts seems a little tighter, but they ultimately look better in my opinion.

The problem with cargo shorts isn't just the pockets, which add unnecessary "bulk" to the shorts. It's the length that those shorts typically come in. If shorts are going below the knee cap, you fucked up.

i never shopped at american eagle. and if you're wearing shorty-shorts that make you look like tom selleck from magnum p.i., you look pretty silly, i think.

i'm not a fan or hater either way, but i do like it when justin wears his other shorts over cargo. that prolly has a little something to do with the fact most of his cargo shorts are ~10 years old i'm just tired of lookin' at the damn things. luckily some have been retired* by now

*that's code for i threw them away at the first sight of a hole

These are still my favorite pair of shorts to wear...I have them in dark and light colored khaki:

Mine also don't look as stiff as that pair does. Probably because I've washed them a hundred times. They also seem a bit "shorter" than those...but whatev.

But I pretty much only wear them with t-shirts. So I don't go "out" in them. As in nice dinners and such...even then, I have a pair of long khakis and linen pants that do the trick (you can't wear shorts when you are dressing nice). It took me a while, but I finally found a pair of j.crew khaki shorts for those in between nice dinners and when I wear the above that fit my "athletic" thighs and don't make it feel/look like I'm wearing skinny shorts.

I still don't feel like I'm wearing my highschool/abercrombie/americaneagle/pasttheknees cargo shorts when I'm wearing the above. They're not long, not huge cargo pockets, and extremely airy and comfortable. And yes...I like to carry all my shit in the pockets.
