I love how Abercrombie always has cargo shorts in 8 different colors.

I'd never wear them, so I have to find regular shorts, which produces two scenarios. The first is the super short ones that I won't wear either.

Finally, I discover one pair, in one color, of Classic Fit shorts. And, like always, there's 10 pairs of size 28, 6 pairs of size 30, 2 pairs of size 32. And we all know that an Abercrombie 32 is really a normal 28. I don't understand why everything has to be so fucking small in that store, and why everything has to be Muscle. When I inquired as to the lack of regular sizes (and really, what grown men with cocks longer than 3" wear a size 30 in Abercrombie?) the sales associate told me "the smaller sizes are what people usually want." Apparently not, since they have a whole damn store full of them, and the 34/36 sizes are bought almost immediately after being placed on the sales floor.

^^ Finding shoes to wear with shorts has always been a pain...IMO.

I hate topsiders...but they do go well with shorts. I also hate preppy slip-on types...but they also go well with shorts.

I can usually get around it by either (a) continuing to wear sandals or (b) wear some thin, light slacks. I fucking hate wearing shoes with shorts.

ditto...i wear flipflops, sandals, or tennis shoes (though i usually only wear these with workout shorts)

i don't own topsiders and generally assume that only frat boys wear them...but truthfully, they're probably comfortable as noted, they are one of the few shoes that go pretty well with shorts if you're okay with the overall look

This is the opposite of what I usually find. No 28's to be seen and a 30 is way too big. Hell, even a small shirt is too fucking baggy at some places. I've gotten it down so that the only places I can really shop are J Crew and American Eagle and SOMETIMES the Gap.

Btw I have a 8 inch penis and I just pick a side and slide it down.

I have probably said it before in here, but as a father of 2 young boys (now 3 and 1), I do carry a ton of crap around. Tissues, pacifier, small toys, etc. I'd much rather throw the little extra stuff in some cargo shorts pockets, rather than completely stuff a diaper bag.

Hell, I've even had an extra (empty) baby bottle, a diaper, and some wipes in there, too. Not always, but sometimes it's pretty damn convenient. So there.

Agreed. If I'm wearing shorts there's about a 90% chance that I'm wearing my leather reefs.

And personally I don't get the disdain for cargo shorts. Of the probably ~10 pairs of shorts I own, 7 or 8 are cargos, and I'm okay with that. I only really get to wear them on weekends or if I change after work anyway. I also refuse to wear the shorty shorts because they would look ridiculous on me, and if I'm wearing shorts, I'm somewhere very casual and really don't care that much. The extra pockets are good for a sunglass case (I wear glasses so have to carry prescription sunglasses around) or a small camera if I'm traveling/out in a photo-worthy location.

Just this evening I asked the fiancee if she thought they were out of style or looked ridiculous. She said they don't bother her in a casual setting. Validation enough for me.
