I'm still in the Reserves for a little longer. I left AD almost a decade ago...but yeah, I'm a Major, and a pretty old one. The promotions seem to be not happening much for my job after they got rid of my jet--like maybe 10% per year for those eligible--so I didn't jump through the hoops of doing Command & Staff College. For that reason, I doubt I ever make LtCol. Not the end of the world; it's not my day job anymore.

I quit my engineering job about 6 years ago and work as a contractor on base now.
