This entire episode is so lame. Even the MAGA people I know are bored of the attacks on the press. It’s so obviously theatrical and WWE - esque.

I always felt the need to point out when I thought Obama acted un-presidential.

These days I feel like I need to point out when Trump acts presidential.

That press conference, obviously, was not one of those moments.

^Whoever he is, he should obviously hang himself.

It's not a secret. He's idiot refuse, and nobody gives a shit what happens to losers like him.

(The part of his post where he implied Trump might have been presidential at some point some time ever.
Extra adorable...)

WSJ just our out a detailed story that all but confirms the president knowingly broke major campaign finance laws...

But my question is why does it matter? He’s President. He can’t not be criminally charged. The GOP is complicit and would never convict him for impeachment.

Just like his entire life he’s going to skate on by and suffer no repercussion.

It's funny how I can't even criticize Trump without you folks piling on.

^^That was exactly my point. It has to be pointed out. If it ever happens.

^^^While Trump's shennanigans make this pale in comparison, I thought the beer summit was rather unpresidential. I also thought that him talking about Fox news was unpresidential. Not because it was Fox, but just because I didn't feel like presidents should be talking about cable news.

But again, that looks silly in retrospect, after Trump.

President Trump today: "I don’t know Matt Whitaker."

President Trump last month: “I know Matt Whitaker.”

https://cnn.it/2Dd112Z

Any Trump supporters care to weigh in on why you trust anything our president says? Just another blatant lie LOL

and on top of that he's basically saying now that he doesn't even know the man that he appointed to attorney general of the United States of America. Do you support that decision as well?

It’s so bizarre that Trump is apparently refusing to go lay a wreath at Arlington. It’s a major fuck you to the military. Normally I wouldn’t care but he CONSTANTLY uses the military as props.

There is obviously something big coming soon and he knows it.

I’m generally fine with presidents being selective about ceremonies they go to.

Obama skipped Arlington one year to do another memorial (and Fox News has a meltdown).

What kinda irks me with trump is that he clearly does very little work and was actually tweeting nonsense during the time he’d be at the ceremony.

This whole EU thing is going to be interesting, maybe the most lasting legacy of the Trump admin

Economically, the EU nations combined have a higher GDP than America, now they're talking about forming a single military command, separate from NATO. This is a huge undertaking but if they pull it out, they'll be the world's super power.

This seemed inevitable at some point this century, but I would not have thought this would have happened so quickly. I suppose the US's growth has been unsustainable for a while, and rather than see a more gradual decrease in the growth rate, Trump's policies are sort of ripping the bandaid off.

His trade policy is giving room to other countries to boost their own trade, now his military policy is pushing Europe to grow in opposition to us.

The number of international students coming to the US has dropped sharply under Trump too, we're increasingly not seen as the world's education leader (and Canada and France have the leading academic AI hubs now).

Thankfully we still have Apple, Google, and Microsoft, but if we keep seeing the brain drain that has started under Trump, what's going to be our economic edge in the next few decades? Maybe a few agricultural products?

Mueller news.

Of course I don’t know for sure, but his actions recently and the hiring of a totally unqualified acting AG (whose only real qualification that i can see is being a Trump sycophant) sure seem to foreshadow something.

^^^^Just throwing this out, but could the reinvestment of the repatriated money into tech be a cause of the job cuts? I mean the first comment for that article mentions that many companies are interested in investing in tech to keep their full time work force at a minimum.

In an Irish newspaper

Quote :
"President Emmanuel Macron made an ardent plea for multilateralism and international co-operation, seconded by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

Us President Donald Trump cut a lonely figure amid so much high-mindedness, but his only speaking engagement, a 10-minute speech at the US cemetery at Suresnes, west of Paris, was so inarticulate that it was difficult to discern what, if anything, the president stood for."

Trump hasn't tweeted for 21 hours now too, which is rare for him, maybe unprecedented since the election?

Still hasn't submitted written answers to Mueller's questions either...

Without Hillary Obama and Pelosi, Fox news/Republicans would have to spend airtime to build up some other democrat to fear, and all that time could be used praising Trump

Watched some of the very good Chris Matthews interview.

Still amazed we got the dumbest most infantile child in the world to be our president.
