Audio book. Good so far. I didn't realize that Legend of the Seeker was based on this. Glad I didn't; I may have chosen not to try the series out.

a different little take on the zombie novel but not in the stupid way most people do (talking zombies, alien zombies, domesticated zombies). just fyi for the zombie purists out there never buy anthologies they suck.
For those looking for a good zombie book I recommend this as well as "Day by day armaggedon" J.L. Bourne, "Plague of the dead" Z.A. Recht, and "Death Troopers" by I can't remember (also a star wars novel)

I tried getting into Kushiel's Dart, made it about 100-200 pages and just could not continue.

really? That one flew by almost as fast as the shorter GoT for me. SoS was the first one that took me awhile (though as I've told other people, the last half or 1/3 or so of SoS is awesome). And AFFC was a little slow at first too but it really picked up.
I've been meaning to try Kushiel's Dart but haven't gotten around to it. Someone recommended it to me but I read the description and it didn't interest me too much. /shrug I still plan to try it at some point.5/17/2010 10:29:59 AM |

Not an objective take on the matter by any means, but still a good read.
