In light of the recently released dashcam footage of Representative Cawthorn’s traffic stop, I’ve decided I’m going to dive in. I’m going to vote in the NC GOP primary. Last GOP primary I voted in was when Ron Paul ran in 2008.

This could give me a chance to vote against Cawthorn 3 times. The primary, a possible primary runoff, and the general. A primary runoff is triggered if no one reaches 30%.

The other major candidate, Chuck Edwards, is a NC Senate ghoul. Also one of the McDonald’s he owns down in Hendersonville gave me diarrhea. Still a better option than Cawthorn.

The knives are out for this guy. It’s the NCGOP clearing the way for Chuck Edwards. I think Cawthorn jumping into the new NC13 district that was designed for the NC House speaker really burnt the NCGOP old guard. We are three weeks out from primary day, so I wonder if more is yet to drop?

Not exactly a bill full of silver bullets, but it’s not nothing (which is what the NCleg has given us for the last decade). It could all die in the House, but it just seems like an indicator of a NC GOP shift on some of these issues.

Perhaps he's trying to say that we need to stop pushing down higher-level concepts to little brains that might have trouble with them, and for that, I can somewhat see his point. Kindergarteners are learning things at far too fast a pace. They are removing time to just play and learn through play. But if that's his goal, he can't communicate it for shit. But he's still an idiot.

He's just saying things he thinks conservatives want to hear. It's like he has a list of stereotypical conservative talking points.
