Saw a black Ferrari around RDU with the plate HRRDWORK. It wasn't a 355, 360, or one of the F-40 variants. I can't keep track of newer Ferrari models. Anybody seen it around?

And if it was newer, could have been 458 (F430 replacement). Did it have a massively long hood? If so, maybe it was a front-engine model, such as the 599, or its replacement, the F12, or maybe even the Ferrari with 4 seats, the FF.

i was traveling north on Hwy 50 just past Oxford on Friday around 630 and passed a black 458 Italia headed the opposite direction. Obviously didn't see the license plate - but maybe that's the one you saw.

I saw a white convertible Ferrari last night on edwards mill. It was too dark to see it good, just saw the front emblem and tail lights as I passed going the opposite direction.

You guys won't believe what I saw last night....



It was going in the opposite direction, couldn't take a pic. It was this deep metallic indigo in color, very gorgeous. The thing has crazy dimensions (see link below), weighs 9,000 lbs and costs $half a million!

This is a good read, and the pics and stats show what it is capable of in terms of approach and departure angles and such. Plus, it can get fully airborne, like several feet in the air , pics of it flying and doing crazy stuff also in the link.

I also saw this driving in the opposite direction a few months ago but forgot to post about it. Didn't get a pic, but did get a pic of another one in a showroom, but buried somewhere deep in my computer. There are only 100 of them, or at least the company doing the conversions was going to make a 100, but they went bankrupt, whether before or after finishing, I don't know.

^^ Agreed. Maybachs look kinda boring... but when you see this coupe, you can't believe your eyes, that shit is gorgeous even though it is so fucking massive. There is a certain sleekness and smoothness about it that was/is missing from the sedans.

That's a 430. And those Ferrari models aren't very difficult to tell apart, assuming you have even a modest amount of Ferrari knowledge.

Spotted an SL500 (R231) on 540 westbound last night near RDU. Top down and being driven by some young douchebag with his hat on backwards. He was going pretty fast, but nothing insane.

1956 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider. The fellow who I bought the 780 from had me take him to a garage where he was keeping it, as it was his daily driver (really!) for the next few days until he purchased the truck he was looking for.
