I dunno about Ovies, but everybody I know has known about this for many, many years, including Chapel Hill fans. I get all conspiratorial and whatnot, but this specific issue was the one thing nobody has ever been able to deny: they have always driven nice, new cars and parked them wherever they want. The parking, of course, is what annoyed my UNC-CH acquaintances.

But we always concluded they were getting $1 leases that were somehow legit with the NCAA.

I had always heard the old Michael Jordan Nissan leased $1 pathfinders to the basketball players. Obviously that was not true, but clearly they had a more corrupt system in place. Fuck UNC and the blatant cheating, lying, and hypocrisy that whole place embodies.

Heard Will Brinson give a shout out to Pack Pride today on the DG show at lunch. Said something along the lines that the NFL teams should hire Pack Pride posters to spy on NFL draft entries to make sure they don't have Aaron Hernandez type life styles...

The only State guy I remember driving a "nice" vehicle was Archie Miller and I think all he had was some type of SUV with big rims and a system. I really did not see any other notable athletes driving nice rides in my time at State.
