speaking of caboodles, I was a breath away from buying this one this weekend:

ended up going with a different one, but ulta's site doesn't have a photo of it it's in the same series as this one (just a different shape/size):

^^^^ haha I had the lace ones on my nails in the photo you commented on!

they aren't too difficult to apply (just gotta make sure they get really stuck on there), and they last quite some time. I didn't have any chipping at all. Though I just tried to take it off with nail polish remover (like it said to...), and it was a bit of a pain.

Still, I love them, and am trying the blue-glitter next

^^^ I have that dress in purple! love it! although I've had trouble with the buttons coming undone (a lot of the comments on Modcloth mention this) If you have a large chest ... beware! I'd suggest sewing it closed

Whoever posted about that eyelet dress

I went to ON right after you posted and didn't find any

I found a navy blouse with eyelet sleeves for 7.99, though, but it wasn't what I was looking for. It seemed long enough to make into a dress lol

^^ I don't know who that is ... but I have a small chest and it comes unbuttoned for me! it's not too tight either, the cloth buttons are just small and aren't secure in the holes.

wasn't someone talking about wanting to find cute wedges recently and being unable to do so?

i see SEVERAL pairs i am considering ordering on DSW!!!!

http://www.dsw.com/womens-shoes/collection/sandal+shop/wedges/page-all/

what do you gals wear wedges with? i don't know if they are really my style. i pretty much always wear flats. i used to wear heels more in college but i am just not really a heel girl when it comes to everyday attire (even going out attire). i DO love wedges though, but do you still like them paired with jeans and leggings? i don't think i'd do them with a dress. MAYBE, but with dresses i'm more of a sandal girl. metallic and other funky colored greek/egyptian style sandals are my jam.

i would be in love with these in bright check if they were taller. http://tinyurl.com/5rbes4h
the current height is a little too mom. otherwise they'd be super funky/fun.

OHHHHH! i have no idea where i'd EVER wear this/with what, but i like to look at them http://tinyurl.com/4gugs8e. might be a little too asian though haha.

LOVE LOVE LOVE SO HARD. i can't decide on color. i think i like the grey more, but the beige prob goes with more. i think i might be purchasing these. love them. http://tinyurl.com/6fs9uyh

I would opt to wear wedges with a dress over jeans unless they're skinny jeans that stop at the ankle. Wedges are heavier/clunkier shoes so you don't want too much else going on around your feet or it could look weird (unbalanced). I don't really do wedges because I'm really picky about them. I don't like them to have too much of a platform or they could look stripperish.

^^^ I think wedges are really versatile, great for summer and more stable than other heels. I almost always wear them with a summery skirt or dress. they also look good with skinny jeans, daisy dukes, or bermuda shorts (bermuda shorts were trendy a few years ago, but they look good on most figures so I still wear them!) IMO it's harder to pull off wedges with boot cut jeans, they just look weird to me.

(LOL ... Cass posted while I was writing with almost the same advice!)

i know that is why i don't like them with dresses and skirts (stripperish)

i only wear skinny jeans and leggings right now (for some reason i am anti all other jeans at the moment, i go through phases) so they are all fitted and stop around the ankle.

i feel like i like wedges with jeans because it dresses up a plain outfit (like a tshirt and jeans, which is def my style)

^ I'm in a leg phase right now, so I would say rock short shorts with wedges - just as long as the shorts are not super tight. But I think they would look really nice with skinny jeans too.

mad at GoldenGirl for posting about ASOS.

I've been looking at their stuff all day

On a different note, I have a friend who's studying at the aveda salon in chapel hill. She's taking a class next week on waxing, and needed a "test" person to do a brazilian on. I offered thinking a free waxing would be a win win situation but now I'm really scared haha. Does anyone have advice on how I should prepare for this??

I've heard to take ibuprofen a couple of hours before you have it done.

^^ suck it up, really. That's all I can advise.

The ibuprofen helps a little, but not much. Avoid waxing around your fun time of the month.

It all depends on your pain tolerance. I was crying and laughing at the same time when I had my first one done. The lady was great, made everything relaxed and not awkward and didn't build up any anxiety with counting and shit. I went to Bella Trio, near Southpoint. It's painful, but it's over quickly.

Do a couple of shots

Regarding the Brazilian, the more you get it done the less it'll hurt down the road. I wax TKE-Teg's back and when we started doing it 2 years ago it hurt him really bad but now it barely bothers him. Your skin builds up a tolerance.

i ordered these from Avon...

the reason i like them is because the straps are small so the pattern won't be overwhelming...

but the reason they might suck is because the straps are small

LADIES

I need your help.

My boudoir pics are in 2 weeks. I have no idea what to wear. Well, I take that back... I get two changes, and I know one will be with my apron but I have no idea what to wear underneath. The second shoot I would like to have an edgier look but I don't want to be showing too much or I'll be uncomfortable. :\

So basically... any ideas? I also don't want to show my stomach completely because that's just not my favorite spot

Biofreak70- if you have time to run out to the nearest outlet area, that's usually the only place where I can find them for less than $45. Also, I highly recommend giving sperry's flops a try. I like mine a whooole bunch more than my rainbows- and I never thought I'd say that about any brand.

Or take your sister's advice and while you're there take your groomsmen with you and look for your shirts! That's a great idea
