reposting because I'm not sure if more than a few ladies saw it:

I guess the best way to describe the second look I'm going for is .. think Suicide Girls?

Except, ya know, not topless.

maybe a combo of fishnets, boyshorts/cheekies/tangas/whatever you personally call those things, corset top or lacy kind of camisole?

I think you should go with a nice lingerie combo but then have something slightly covering it up like a long trench coat or something - like in the pictures above.

Or a corset would be great if you don't want to show your stomach.

Or you could do the sort of see through shirt thing, where you have a solid color bra but wear a mesh, or lacy shirt

3^ it's def more common now. Girls are doing it and giving it to their hubby to be b4 the wedding or after. Most any photographer will do them; just gotta find one you're comfortable getting semi-nude in front of.

Some photographers will set up a day they photo a bunch of girls for a boudoir session. They get two hotel rooms; one is for shootig and the other for getting ready where they have a partner specializing in hair and makeup to get you ready for the session. I think that's actually become the norm for most photographers now. So you pay one price for that one day...only thing you provide is your outfit.

Samwise, another idea is one of his button-up shirts. Roll the sleeves a bit, wear some cute undies underneath.....

If I do this, I am totally wearing one of Brett's button-ups......although it will be huge

So basically... any ideas? I also don't want to show my stomach completely because that's just not my favorite spot"

i actually went just yesterday to look at my proofs from my boudoir session!!

i had 2 changes as well but my photographer let me switch up some accessories to change the look. for my first i had a black and white polka dot bra and panty set and i brought one of my bfs white button downs and also a long strand of pearls that i doubled around my neck (and they were still super long). for my second i wore another bra and panty set with a fishnet style pattern but wider diamonds and not as sheer. i paired that with a black garter and fishnet stockings (well, they were just above my knee) i bought them at dillards. they are basically black stockings with wider fishnet pattern integrated. it actually looked really classy and sexy without being like halloween fishnets. so i switched that look up by taking off the garter and stockings and adding heels and this black tuxdeo jacket the photographer had in her little wardrobe of goodies. it was really small and feminine. i also added my pearls and this fedora type hat she had as well. we got some really cool shots with that look too.

so if you only get 2 changes, try to think of ways to accessorize to change the look without having to put on a new "outfit" and your photographer might have some props or extra accessories hanging around (now that im thinking about it, mine also had some really pretty dangly clip on earrings i wore too)

for your apron shot, what color is the apron? you could wear heels and depending on how short the apron is, you could do a garter and some stockings that compliment it, similar to what i described in my shoot. for the top portion, just wear a coordinating bra or strapless. you can play with the straps or have them pulled off your shoulder. you could also take the bra off and get a side boob type shot in the apron (that way you have options with and without a bra and are still comfortable)

for the edgier look you're going for, i would let the photographer know you're not comfortable with showing off your stomach so to try to take shots that compliment your other features. i took some shots on this hot pink couch and i was laying on my stomach with my head near one of the arm rests and those shots turned out well and you obvi cant see the stomach. i'm sure you'll also get some close ups of your face or your boob/shoulder/neck area so don't worry too much (most women don't want their stomach all up in the photo anyway)

you could also use your arms to angle across your body. also, will your photographer photoshop? mine only showed me proofs that had been photoshopped (which should be a law, if you're getting boudoir shots done, you only see the retouched ones!) so, short of taking you down to a size 0 they can flatten and minimize areas.

i think stockings and garters are hot, if you do too and consider that edgy maybe that will help. the photographer should give you plenty of direction on how to pose and when you move/look away/small smile etc. so you could get some edgy looks from posing as well (i have one on this white furry rug kind of laying on my side with my knee brought up and my hear tilted back that looks risque

i hope this helps! oh and one thing i wish i had done... brought some wine to drink to loosen me up i did fine, the photographer and hair/make up girl were awesome but it would have taken the edge off. and also bring your ipod/speakers if you can. my girl played music and it helped make it less awkward/creepy. when britney spears came on i hit my groove and got some awesome shots, so if you do that, think of songs that make you feel sexy

good luck!!

thanks for the advice guys

piddlebug -- my boudoir pics came with our package... so I'm honestly not sure of how much she charges outside of packages (April from Evoke Photography)

^ I get to change my look meaning not only clothes but hair and make-up as well.. but I do like that tights/tuxedo jacket idea! I didn't even think about music. I'm gonna make a playlist now

The apron is similar to this but has more brown trim (but the same cut)

I have a pretty necklace that's very sweet looking that I'll probably use... and I think I have some good edgier necklaces... I could wear my black sparkly heels And I have my sparkly purple guitar I could use.

My ultimate goal with the edgy look is to really kind of shock what my boo thinks is sexy. So I guess I could say I want to be the opposite of what you would expect?

PS... I like my hair color and how it turned out, but I liked being a darker red head more than I thought! So next week I'm going for this color

aka what it was the first day with the toner

boo-dwar, basically

and yeah it's essentially a sexy photo shoot... some girls get fully nude, some are more modest

I don't know if I'll go the lingerie route for either outfit... maybe a pretty slip for the cupcake apron (or camisole) and the pin-up look above that's fully covered

cute apron, but you might wanna go for it with the lingerie. something to look at when you're 70

ok, shoe time.

I found these three pairs on amazon for 160, but it's going to cost me another $80 to import them. I have an amazon card for 150 though.

I really like the blue/green ones because i just got a dress that color. I'm hoping they can kinda pass for dressy-ish while still letting me walk.

I wanted these initially, but they were more like $100 just by themselves, so wayyy too much to pay the import fee for. but then i found them in canada for only 10 bucks more, thanks to a coupon. don't have a gift card though.

however, I'm kinda unsure what the financial répercussions are going to be from dropping 200$ on shoes right now, I have the cash but there's probably something else I'll need to spend it on right after i click "send my order"

yeah, I am just not sure if i should order them both at once. they might suck i guess, though I have a similar shoe from naturalizer that works for me. I really want the green ones, but they are still full price at $70. the light ones are only $50.

Any tips of rocking a large tote? I got one today on sale on Piperlime (wooooo Gap Rewards!) but I'm wondering if I should dress a certain way in order for it to not make it look like too much. Maybe just a simple jeans and tee look with this bag?

I love large bags....because that one doesn't have much structure to it I would keep it simple. Baggy/flowy clothes will make you look like a hippy (if that's what you're going for then fabulous) haha.

It's a great color for the season too..almost neon which is big for spring/summer.

^2 yeah, it's a lot of constant standing/sitting and walking back and forth from the room to ultrasound. Those have a hidden platform though so the heel is really only about 2 1/2" tall and review said they were comfy. If not, I'm sending those bitches back

Revolution studios does boudoir photography. It's a little pricey but pretty cool. They also do groupon deals every once in awhile. Before my first shoot the fiancé didn't care, but after seeing the photos he's all for me going back for more. I'm going to create an album for him and give it to him the night before the wedding.you could wear a ski outfit and they'll make you look sexy!
