New battery in '03 dodge, new battery in '52 dodge.

'03 got a ride home on a rollback, and I believe it needs new injectors. It wont build rail pressure, I figure i have one or more injectors leaking back. I guess i need to remove them and send them off or find somewhere to test them. the price of new injectors is

Ordered new front strut mounts and GR2 struts all around for the mazda. Still waiting for one more strut to arrive (back ordered), which should be the first week in April. Yay.

I'm debating on going coilovers or new springs, tokiko struts and group N tophats.

Thats the 1 thing that sucks about having a legacy instead of a wrx.... not enough suspension parts....

I would have gone with tokiko struts, but I couldn't justify the 2x pricepoint over gr2.

Ride height is fine with the car... Is it "normal" to replace struts but not springs, especially on an old car? All I can find is lowering springs, and they aren't cheap either.

lol, happened to the reservoir on my c5 as well and it too is jb welded (has been for 3+ years).

wish i'd known you needed an ebcm, probably would have just given you mine. i'm likely going to be junking it along with anything else abs related. the taller tires i just switched to in the rear have been causing frequent "service active handling" errors in which case it locks the tc on and renders the button useless. it's confused by the 1-2" difference in diameter front/rear. cycling the ignition resets it no problem, but still annoying. especially when it decides to do it right before i need to do a burnout at the track..

Worked today on getting the old messed up engine out of my F150. Hopefully I'll be able to pull it tomorrow and get my core charge back . . . . never done anything beyond repairs before. The newly rebuilt .030 over 302 roller engine (original wasn't roller, since its an 89) is sitting in the back of the truck, waiting.

Got the fluids drained (the coolant was downright scary, it looked like watery clay with chunks in it), radiator and hoses removed, alternator and starter and a bunch of vacuum and electrical lines pulled. Tomorrow I'll be removing the exhaust pipes from the headers, pulling the last few plugs and lines, and hopefully lifting it out without fucking anything up!

haha

and FLOWMASTERS!

zxappeal and I put another set of front rotors and some Carbotech XP8 pads on my Z06, and lowered the front end pretty close to 1". Still need to go lower the rear. Patched a hole in a turn signal housing, and changed the clutch fluid (it looked like espresso, but with shit floating in it).

Those XP8s definitely have more bite than the AX6s I replaced with them, and I did probably at least fifteen ~80-15 mph stops in fairly rapid succession. They definitely smelled hotter than hell, but they were very fade-resistant.

I best be mounting a single 8" stack then!!!!!

- new lawnmower battery tonight, goddamnit. 7.2V for the lose. while mowing. only got like 10% mown.

- blind spot mirrors on the dakota yesterday! woot.

- ordered 90% of the equipment to mount the Lung's battery in the bed. I need a metal framed battery mount for a Group 31 battery if any of you fuckers know of a source. something robust, if you will.
