I’m no doctor, but if he was hurt enough to not play in a close and important game, he’s not going to be anywhere close to 100%.

KD done for at least rest of the series. Already assuming the Rockets will win tomorrow, but Sunday is going to be a tough one for me to watch.

Tons of pressure on Harden now, who was noticeably absent during the fourth last night. In fact, with the Ws having zero depth and down the best player in the league, the Rockets should easily win the series. Right?

In theory. Harden was one of the few players with more minutes than KD. Assuming they stay healthy they should be favored if nothing else. Will be more variance bc they can't just rely on kd to come down and hit a jumper. With curry and Thompson, though, nothing is certain. If they get hot....

Wish we could get a series with full health. Losing CP was a killer last year.

If Curry scores more than 32 points in game 7, the Warriors squeak out a win. If Curry shoots < 45% from 3, the Rockets win gm 7.

I have no idea if the Ws will win the west, let alone another title, but it is what it is. The Rockets cannot best the Ws in the playoffs, despite four tries in the past five years.

They would have been gone vs the clippers if not for daddy Durant. Which by the way, best player in the league but had to go to the best team to win a championship.

The Ws lost 2/5 starters this season and did even better than last season against the Rockets who were obsessed with beating them. Chris Paul is trash and wouldn’t have been able to carry the Rockets over the Ws no matter how much you want to delude yourself into thinking. Golden State is a better team, hands down and have the results to prove it. Curry showed up TWICE this season when it counted most and Harden just didn’t. Sorry, but that’s the bitter truth.

The Rockets were obviously worse this season than last season at every spot except maybe Harden himself. Chris paul wouldn't have "carried" us but i bet he would have helped get us out of that game 7 slump. And not having Ariza this season was huge, PJ tucker was our only "big" worth a damn.

Houston is clearly one of the best overall NBA teams, and Harden is an all time great. Those are separate conversations from this latest playoff series.

I think Morey is an excellent gm, there is only so much much you can do with an owner that doesn't want a luxury tax and not being a draw destination. Ariza wanted to leave, not sure why, and CP3 is on the downturn but still an important piece. With free agency, half the battle is a player wanting to come, see exhibit a: golden state.

GS did some good building in the draft and got a little lucky (yea drafts are a good piece luck, for every team) and turned their success into a draw. KD and cousins didn't come bc they love the bay area or to maximize money.

And the report was sent to the NBA, if the NBA doesn't want to see analysis of refs, they shouldn't share that with the teams. Presumably some disgruntled person decided to leak it for maximum pr damage/distraction.

Btw I wasn't arguing that CP3 would have won the series last year, just that things would be different. Same with those ref reports, if every call had been dead right, Houston doesn't necessarily win, but things would be different.

The Blazers have the best remaining back court in the playoffs (excluding the splash bros), but unless CJ/Dame score 65+ for every game in the series, I just don't think they've got enough. Ws in 6 would be my worthless prediction.
